As it's international break, I watched Felixstowe & Walton United vs. Concord Rangers. Deep into injury time Felixstowe 2-1 up. Free kick on the edge of the area for Concord Rangers, a goal mouth scramble, Rangers'kerper almost scored, not sure if the ball crossed the line(?) Felixstowe cleared the ball, substitute number 14, runs from the halfway line to score into the empty net, as the Rangers defence chased him down. So easily could have been a draw, but a 3-1 instead. So yes fine margins are very real, even if I'm tired of hearing about them. Also Harry Wright was in goal for Felixstowe & Walton United. Makes me feel old! | |
