On the back of quite a lot of discourse for new signings and reviews from previous clubs, it is worth bearing in mind that it doesn’t always pan out exactly the same.

We have had plenty of players who have outperformed expectations based on the general opinion from their time at a previous club.

Ones which stand out for me:

- David McGoldrick (Forest)
- Sam Morsy (Middlesbrough)

Sure there are others.
