Everyone knows that Lambert's time is up ,so why prolong the agony , this situation is doing no one any good .
If ME can't decide on the successor , put an interim team in place from within the club . Not the best option , but better than what's happening now and it might encourage some applications that haven't been considered , maybe even someone from abroad .
Would hope that ME has already sounded out some like Cook or Cowleys and maybe even considered action " by mutual consent "
