Analysis of last night... 16:40 - Sep 14 with 454 views

After just over 4 years of exile from Portman Road my 2 sons persuaded me to trot along. To be fair to the gas heads they showed great levels of fitness. Which surprised me as most teams only normally maintain it for 1 hour. We were streets ahead of them all match. Seeing Lee Evans live is incredible. He is a beast of a player with lovely feet. Superb performance. In fact most of the side were solid 7s. But one thing that did stand out for me was that once we went 2 up we kind of played within ourselves and didn't push for a third. We had gears we could have gone up. Perhaps it is a kieron thing? Keep the game at 2-0 and don't get noticed. Had we have gone for the 5 or 6 nil we would have our cards marked more.

All in all enjoyable night. Hopefully the youngsters get to see a token of success from yesteryear. ðŸ˜Š
