Clifford Rd tunnels.. 13:00 - Jun 8 with 1016 views

these may be of interest if you live locally and are interested in WW2…have been meaning to visit for ages and got round to it earlier today…fascinating stuff rammed with artifacts from the era…far bigger than I imagined as well..big event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the D day landings tomorrow or if not open every second weekend of the month….well worth a visit…👍

Thanks. I went to Clifford Road from 1966 to 1971, at which time those tunnels had not been discovered.

I was aware of the discovery of the tunnels, and must one day get round to visiting, although I now live 100 miles away. Maybe I can tie it in with a visit to a home game on a day when it is open, if I get to Ipswich that bit earlier than I normally do.

you’d enjoy your trip down memory lane I’m sure..open from 11 until 3 but they let us in 20 mins early…access via tennison rd …

Yep, and if I got there at 11 it would give me time to get to Portman Road for kick-off.
