We've done really well to get to almost the end of the year before one of these 18:35 - Dec 21 with 805 viewsjasondozzell

No need to overreact in my opinion.

We play out from the back. That's how we've been successful for the last 3 years. I thought our fans had realised that by now. Remember McKenna talking about the fan in League one clapping the brave play from back and how he highlighted it to players?

These PL teams are very, very strong and punish mistakes. It happens. Newcastle were excellent.

We've made the transition, given ourselves a good chance of being in the fight to stay up and under really difficult circumstances.

Striker and a few more in January and we go again..

It was always going to be this way!

Well done to Broady and Ali.

We played some good football in stops and starts.

Keep the faith..

I feel the problem is McKenna is almost a victim of his own success. He’s got us promoted to the PL via back to back promotions and we still have largely a league one squad, and it’s starting to show.

The second thing I think he is straggling with, is he’s trying, at the highest level, too execute a game plan that many of these players are showing they are not capable of executing week in week out at the highest level. But McKenna is not adapting to a game plan to a level this squad can cope with. That’s HIS mistake, not the squad’s.

Poll: Would this current Town team beat the current narwich team

I agree with your first point. KM at pains to point that out - it's really outstanding to be competing with the league one core.

I disagree that they can't do it though. They can. They have. It's just a case of can we beat Leicester's points total in my opinion.

I'm really not too flat after today. These sort of games were inevitable once we got promoted.

I actually think we are in the same situation last Xmas. Great start, started to falter actually bit with Hirst injury. Did well to keep going and get to Jan and then reinforced.

We will stay up.

I have a few concerns, but talking to a couple of Newcastle fans before the game they had a concern based on last season. Apparently to [almost] the same date last season they played Luton away. Luton were struggling and Newcastle had hit some form, Luton beat them 2-0, and they were concerned deja was going to happen, obviously it didn't.
Hence my concern, Luton last season battled and beat them 2-0, if I'm honest if they had taken all their chances today that's a 7 or 8 nil defeat. I didn't see the battle in the team.
