Denzil Flanagan (old supporters only) 17:05 - Nov 9 with 880 views

Apparently Denzil Flanagan was a Town player between 1956 & 1959. He didn't play many first team games, but I'm told he was an England amateur international & after he quit Town, he became a schoolteacher & played for decent amateur side Tooting & Mitcham & part timers Chelmsford City. I wonder if anyone remembers him at Town. I'm asking because his son is a friend of mine & he mentioned this to me as he knew I was a Town fan.

I'm very interested in speaking to his son about the below project. I don't think he played for Ipswich's first team but he did for Arsenal's and was a top amateur. He was one of many helped into the game by Mark Crook and the Wath Wanderers.
