![]() Thursday, 17th Aug 2006 15:18 On-the-move striker Sam Parkin says his destination may be known later today. Reports claim that Preston and Luton have had £300,000 offers for the frontman accepted by the Blues, although there is no confirmation that this is the case from any of the clubs. Parkin, who cost Town £450,000 from Swindon a year ago, said: "I can't really say a great deal. I am with my agent and we are ready to talk to any club that agrees a fee with Ipswich. Beyond that I don't want to say anything else. The situation might become a lot clearer later in the day." Luton boss Mike Newell has refused to comment on his club's reported interest: "I don't discuss transfer speculation, or any possible targets. I've made a policy of that since I've been here. "We are after a number of players and we failed in the last week or so to bring in a couple of players, but there is nothing we can do about that. "We've moved our targets now, but until we get them signed I won't discuss who they are." Meanwhile, Bury Town skipper Ian Miller is continuing his trial with the Blues today having impressed at centre-half in yesterday's reserve game at the MK Dons. Miller, 22, will play in another game next week. With no reserve match scheduled, this is likely to be a behind-closed-doors friendly.
