Birmingham City's Bryan Hughes is again being linked with Town. The £3 million rated midfielder was reported as a Town target last week and is unlikely to join before Birmingham's Worthington Cup Final appearance on February 25th.

26-year-old Hughes impressed against Town last season at St Andrew's and played a part in both legs of the recent semi-final between the two clubs. Town's interest is thought to have grown since the faliure to land Hassan Kachloul from Southampton.

Hughes was previously at Wrexham and joined Birmingham three years ago for £800,000.
