TWTD understands that Lewis Price will be in the Wales starting line-up for this evening's Euro 2008 qualifier against Cyprus at Cardiff (Sky Sports One, 8pm). Price will be winning his third senior cap and replaces Paul Jones who had a disastrous time as the Welsh lost 5-1 to Slovakia on Saturday.

The Town keeper made his international debut against Cyprus in November 2005 and picked up his second cap when he came on as a substitute in a friendly with Paraguay in March this year. Tonight's game will be his first competitive international appearance.

Alan Lee will hope to make a first competitive start for the Republic of Ireland in their game against the Czech Republic in Dublin (Sky Sports Two, 7.30pm). Reports in the Irish press have the Town striker down as a likely starter.

The Blues will want Darren Bent to finally make his competitive international bow for England in Croatia, thereby triggering the £200,000 top-up on his transfer fee from Charlton.
