Stephen Cosgrove will get another chance to prove himself to Town bosses when he plays for the reserves against Southampton next Wednesday (Portman Road, 7pm). George Burley is said to have thought the Manchester United youngster had a good game last night against Watford.

Town have also denied that they have already signed the player. He will only sign if he impresses on his trial. It has also emerged that Cosgrove has previously been on trial at York City.
