![]() Friday, 27th Oct 2006 13:51 As expected, on-trial keeper Jaroslav Drobný has signed a one-month contract with the Blues. The former Fulham keeper joins as cover for Lewis Price who is out for at least three games with a broken rib. Drobný told the club site: "I agreed to end my contract at Fulham and became a free agent in the summer. "I went back to Greece and trained with Panionios and then my agent called and said that Ipswich were short of a goalkeeper. "I have trained with the first team this week and the manager has asked me to stay for a month which I am delighted to do. "Ipswich has a fantastic stadium and fantastic training facilities, so it's a good chance for me. I'm only here for a month but I have been made to feel very welcome and if I do well here then perhaps there maybe a chance to stay longer. "That will be down to the club, of course, so we will have to wait and see what happens." Drobný will be on the bench when the Blues take on Luton on Saturday.
