 Tuesday, 13th Feb 2001 11:44 Marcus Stewart may find out whether his red card against Leeds has been rescinded today. The Town striker appealed against the red card which he felt was unjustified. Town manager George Burley went to see referee Peter Jones after the game and he said he would change his decision if he felt he had been harsh. Meanwhile Jim Magilton has requested a personal hearing from the FA regarding the misconduct charge brought after the Chelsea game. Magilton berated referee Andy D'Urso after the game and tried to stop Hermann Hreidarsson from shaking hands with the official. Wayne Brown restrained the Northern Ireland player. The FA are waiting for Magilton to plead either guilty or not guilty before they proceed any further. Peter "Diesel" Morris late 60s and early 70s Town midfielder has been sacked from his position as manager of Kettering Town. The Poppies lost 5-1 to Morecambe on Saturday and haven't won a League match since September 2nd. Morris said: "I’ve been sacked — and I’m gutted. I was contracted to 2003 as manager and it has been taken away from me. But I don’t want to say any more until I’ve spoken to my lawyer. Then I’ll make a statement."
