![]() Tuesday, 13th Feb 2001 15:07 Reports in the Belgian press claim that Town will be watching Anderlecht's left-sided midfielder Bart Goor when they take on Leeds this evening at Elland Road. The Belgian is rated at £3.5 million and is 27-years-old, he joined Anderlecht from Genk in 1997 and is highly rated by his club. George Burley said last week that he will be looking at European players and certainly Goor is the kind of player we have recently targeted. We reckon we'll hear more on this one. George Burley has commented on the Giffarna Sundsvall story saying that although no formal arrangement will be put in place some of Town's younger players may be loaned out to the Swedish side. The Blues' boss said: "Giffarna are a club we know about and we have a good relationship with them. There will be no formal tie-up but there is the possibility of loaning players to them." The likes of Neil Midgely, Sean Friars and Justin Miller may find themselves off with the Swedish club at some point.
