Town's kitman and coach driver Paul Elmer left Portman Road earlier this week after being made redundant. TWTD reported a fortnight ago that the Blues had sold their team coach.

The club have decided to hire coaches for away matches and pre-season tours in future which means Elmer's role no longer exists. Many of his responsibilities will now be taken on by Wayne Coughlan, who has switched from part-time to full-time in a new equipment manager's role.

Town's coach was recently sold to Fraser Eagle ("UK passenger transport group and corporate solutions specialist") and is expected to be used by Accrington Stanley, the club they sponsor.
