Boss Jim Magilton says he expects loan midfielder Darren Currie to be back training with the Blues on Thursday. Currie has been at Coventry since November and said on Monday that he wants to make his move to the Ricoh Arena a permanent switch.

Magilton told the club site: "Darren's loan at Coventry is up and he will be back with us at the end of the week.

"I've heard reports that Coventry have made a bid for Darren, but that's certainly not the case. We've heard nothing.

"Darren wants first team football and he's had that at Coventry and I can understand that he would like a permanent move there.

"We've had no contact from Coventry though, and the way it stands at the moment, he'll be returning to training with the rest of the lads on Thursday."

Currie has made six starts and two sub appearances with the Sky Blues.
