Boss Jim Magilton has denied reports in London claiming that striker Jon Macken has turned down the chance to join the Blues on a permanent basis. Magilton has previously said that he is keen to sign the former loanee on a full-time deal.

The Town manager told the club site: "Talk of Jon turning down a permanent move here is news to me.

"There has been no contact between us and Palace since he left."

Palace boss Peter Taylor said on Friday that Macken was available for loan to interested parties.
