Wright: Lads to Pay Fine Sunday, 22nd Apr 2007 21:43 Goalscorer David Wright says he is going to claim his fine back from his team-mates after being yellow-carded for the celebrations in the aftermath of his first Town goal at Carrow Road. Wright stabbed home the equaliser just after the hour mark in Sunday's 1-1 draw. The former Crewe and Wigan man told the club site: "It was my first taste of a derby match down here and to score was a fantastic feeling, especially in front of our fans. "I don't get many goals so they are all special, but perhaps this one was extra special and I ended up celebrating in with the fans. "The referee booked me for it but I am going to ask the lads to pay the fine because it was only when they all piled on top of me that I ended up in falling into the crowd!” Wright admitted that the Canaries, with whom he had a loan spell last season, gave him a difficult time early on: "They were on top for the first half hour and caused us problems, especially down my side where they had a spare man on occasions. "We got to grips with it after the break and we certainly deserved a point. A draw seemed to be a fair result."
