![]() Thursday, 3rd May 2007 16:34 Winger Jaime Peters has been called into the Canada U20 squad for a friendly with Argentina in Toronto on May 11th. Town have also revealed that the midfielder has agreed to sign his new three-year deal, subject to his new work permit being granted. The Argentina game is a warm-up for the FIFA U20 World Cup being held in Canada during June and July. Peters, 20 on Friday, joins up with the squad for the friendly after Sunday's game with Cardiff City. Peters has been named one of six ambassadors for the host country ahead of the tournament, the biggest single-sport competition in Canadian history. The pacy wideman has already won 22 Canada U20 caps in addition to his 12 full appearances. The competition starts on 30th June and runs until 22nd July.
