Jason De Vos and Richard Naylor are both on target to be ready to start pre-season training with the rest of the squad on June 12th. De Vos recently underwent foot surgery, while Naylor has bruised his foot.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Richard has had a MRI scan to see how the bone bruising in his toe is healing and the reports from the specialist are very positive.

"He has been swimming this week and should be clear to start running in the next few days.

"All the signs are encouraging and at the moment he is on target to begin the same pre-season programme as the first team squad.

"It's the same with Jason, his recovery is going well and he's now back running. If there are no problems, then he should be OK to begin pre-season.”

Midfielder Sylvain Legwinski is a little way behind Naylor and De Vos after breaking a metatarsal at Luton, but is also spending time swimming.

Keeper Lewis Price has been given the all-clear to join up with Wales after undergoing a scan earlier in the week. The 22-year-old, expected to leave the Blues over the summer, picked up the injury in Town's 2-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Welsh take on New Zealand in a friendly at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground on May 26th and the Czech Republic in a Euro 2008 qualifier at the Millennium Stadium on June 2nd.
