![]() Monday, 4th Jun 2007 12:58 Coach Steve Foley says his links with La Liga side Valencia could lead to player exchanges between the clubs. Foley has previously travelled to Spain to take a look at the six-time Spanish champions' training methods and is spending five more days with Los Ches this week. Foley said: “A link-up is possible and I shall be meeting Valencia coach Quique Flores again. “There is a chance we can loan players from one club to the other, and a spell in Spain would be beneficial to one or two of our youngsters." Town have previously organised academy links with a number of clubs on the continent, including Dutch side Heerenveen, Norwegians ODD Grenland and Swedish club Giffarna Sundsvall. Recently, Irish club Salthill Devon sent over a party of youngsters to spend time at Playford Road. Foley will be back at Portman Road for the start of pre-season training on June 12th.
