![]() Monday, 11th Jun 2007 14:17 Town's reserves will again take part in the Pontin's Holidays Football Combination League East Division next season. The Blues had hoped to spend 2007/08 in a newly formed reserve league after finding the Combination too easy last season. The Blues carried off the title and found little competition against the second strings of the likes of Stevenage Borough and Oxford United. Town and other Football League sides were expelled from the Premier League's reserve divisions last summer. There are understood to be plans for a new stronger reserve league involving the Blues for 2008/09. Richard Hall's men still have one game from 2006/07 left to play. A planned play-off with Brighton and Hove Albion, who won the South Division of the competition, was due to be played at the end of the season but a date couldn't be arranged.
