![]() Monday, 13th Aug 2007 12:28 Striker Dean Bowditch is close to a return to light training after undergoing groin surgery in the summer. Bowditch has been out of action for virtually all of 2007. Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Dean's operation went well on a long-standing groin problem and he is following a comprehensive staged rehabilitation programme. "He is now doing multi-directional work and kicking a ball again, and will be back in light training very soon." Earlier in the summer, Brighton and Hove Albion said they were keen for the 21-year-old to return on loan once he reaches full fitness.
