Keeper Neil Alexander may miss Saturday's game at Watford as his wife Joanne is close to giving birth at Ipswich Hospital.

The Scottish international will travel with the Town squad to Hertfordshire later today, but will return to Suffolk should his wife go into labour.

Boss Jim Magilton has agreed to allow the former Cardiff man to miss out if he is needed back home, with Shane Supple taking over between the sticks.
