![]() Tuesday, 28th Sep 1999 12:44 Matt Holland seems certain to be called into the full Ireland squad to play Macedonia in Skopje on October 9th as a replacement for the injured Roy Keane. The Man United midfielder officially with drew this morning and after Mick McCarthy was spotted at Portman Road on Sunday there seems little doubt that the Town player, already on call, will be drafted into the squad. Holland has yet to make a full appearance for his adopted country, although he impressed in a B international last season. His call-up, if it comes, casts further doubt on Town's October 9th fixture at Crystal Palace with David Johnson's Welsh call-up yesterday.
