Chief executive Derek Bowden says he expects to hold talks with manager Jim Magilton regarding a new contract. Magilton's initial two years is up at the end of the season.

Bowden told TWTD: “There aren't any talks at the moment, but I think it's implicit that there will be. It will be tackled in due course. He's not raising it and we're not raising it at the moment, but I'm very happy with him.”

Meanwhile, Magilton says elsewhere that he concedes a new club owner might want to bring in his own man: “If he comes in and puts money in and feels he want to go for someone else in charge then I go, it is as simple as that but I'm very relaxed about that because I know how the game works.”

The Town boss, who says he is happy at Portman Road, has also ruled himself out of the running for either the Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland jobs.

Chief executive Bowden was speaking to TWTD in an in depth interview in the new issue of the fanzine which goes on sale around the ground (from our sellers by Sir Alf, next to Planet Blue, by the Portman Road entrance to the Greene King Stand and at the North Stand end of Alderman Road) prior to today's game.

It is also available by post here either via a six-issue subscription or by purchasing a single copy.
