 Monday, 29th Oct 2007 11:13 Academy midfielder Ed Upson has been named in the England U19 squad playing a friendly with Germany in Elversberg on November 14th. Upson, 17, recently won his first two U19 caps in England's European Championship preliminary qualifying round group games. Three victories sent Brian Eastick's side through to the elite round of qualifying in the spring. England U19s: Sone Aluko - Birmingham City (On loan to Aberdeen), Febian Brandy - Manchester United, David Button - Tottenham Hotspur, Jamie Chandler - Sunderland, Ciaran Clark - Aston Villa, Jack Cork - Chelsea (On loan to Scunthorpe United), Kieran Gibbs - Arsenal, James Henry - Reading, Sam Hutchinson - Chelsea, Henri Lansbury - Arsenal, Joe Mattock - Leicester City, Tope Obadeyi - Bolton Wanderers, Krystian Pearce - Birmingham City, Hal Robson-Kanu - Reading, Lee Sawyer - Chelsea, Jason Steele - Middlesbrough, James Tomkins - West Ham United, Ed Upson - Ipswich Town.
