Ex-Town defender Tony Vaughan has been slapped on the transfer list by manager David Platt after his red card against Crewe last week. The centre-half appeared to stamp on Crewe keeper Ademole Bankole (remember him from the Town-Crewe game a few years back?) and was swiftly sent off.

Vaughan left Town for Manchester City for £1.35 million in the summer of 1997. After a poor spell at City he joined Forest last March for £350,000.

The red card against Crewe was his second of the season and Platt has clearly lost patience with the player who was also sent off along with Ade Akinbiyi last season and twice for Town.

Neither Martijn Reuser nor former Town man Bobby Petta are included in the Dutch squad meeting Andorra and Portugal. Petta was on stand-by for their last game while Reuser has previously won one cap. If he continues impressing for Town he could well get a call-up sooner rather than later.

If you're interested here's the full squad: Van der Sar, Westerveld, Reiziger, Frank de Boer, Stam, Hofland, Cocu, Bouma, Bosvelt, Van Bommel, Davids, Paauwe, Makaay, Kluivert, Hasselbaink, Van Hooijdonk, Overmars, Zenden, Sikora, Vennegoor of Hesselink and Bruggink.

Today's Do You Remember? hero is another Dutchman, Arnold Muhren. What are your memories of the career of the man some describe as the greatest player in Town;s history. Click the link on the message board: http://www.twtd.co.uk/messages
