Boss Jim Magilton says he and his staff will make decisions regarding the three foreign trialists over the weekend. TWTD revealed earlier today that US-born keeper Kenneth Kronholm is with the Blues, along with Finn Jonas Portin and Pole Damian Gorawski.

Magilton told the club site: "We have had the three trialists with us this week and they have all done OK.

"I'll talk to my staff over the weekend and we will make a decision from there on whether we take it any further with the lads.

"It's that time of the year when clubs get in trialists and I expect we will be looking at a few more between now and January."

All three were in the reserves side which defeated Watford 1-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday, Jordan Rhodes netting the only goal. Former Liverpool academy midfielder Charlie Barnett was also in the side.

Winger Gorawski is in his second trial spell with the club, while Kronholm, who currently plays with FSV Frankfurt, who play in the Regionalliga Süd, the third tier of German football, is the latest in a number of goalkeepers to spend time on trial at Portman Road.

Partin is the captain of the Finnish U21 side which is currently leading their European Championships qualifying group.

The FF Jaro Pietarsaari centre-half, 21, emerged as one of side's most important players during the 2007 season. His elder brother Jens is a full-back with the same club.
