![]() Monday, 17th Dec 2007 11:29 Coventry City have declared Saturday, 29th December Ladies Day at the Ricoh Arena with Town's female fans - and those pretending to be female fans — invited to take part. The Sky Blues announced the venture in order to increase the number of women attending games at the Ricoh Arena with female supporters able to purchase tickets for half-price. Initially, the offer applied only to home fans until TWTD contacted the club, who in turn spoke to the Sky Blues, who agreed to extend the offer to Town supporters. In addition to women supporters, Coventry will allow male fans in drag to purchase their tickets at half-price. The half-price tickets need to be marked for entry through the turnstiles. Town supporters who have already purchased tickets being used by ladies or ‘ladies' are required to take them back to the Ticket Office on Constantine Road for them to be marked and to receive their refund.
