![]() Monday, 7th Jan 2008 09:07 Chairman David Sheepshanks says the Blues have received no offers for any of their players since the transfer window opened last week. Jon Walters's absence from the Town side which faced Portsmouth due to a stomach bugon Saturday led to rumours of an impending move to Wigan, while Sunday's newspapers linked Danny Haynes with a number of Premier League sides. Sheepshanks confirmed that there is interest in several members of the squad, but that there have so far been no bids: “There is always speculation in January and it's not surprising that there are clubs that admire our players who have been doing so well, but we have had no offers for our players. “While you can never say we will never sell any of our players, you don't get promoted by selling your best players. “We are not looking to sell our best players. On the contrary, we are looking to add to improve our squad.” While all but ruling out moves for first team regulars, Sheepshanks said that Town will consider offers for fringe players. Over the weekend, Gary Roberts was linked with Leeds and Swansea. Youngster Sammy Moore is also interesting Leeds, while Dean Bowditch is currently on loan at Northampton, who are reported to want to make the move a permanent one. Darlington are keen to re-sign Ian Miller on loan, while George O'Callaghan has been linked with QPR, Cork City, Bohemians and St Patrick's.
