The Blues have confirmed that Jaime Peters has joined Yeovil Town on loan for the rest of the season, as reported earlier today. The Canadian will be reunited with his close friend Darryl Knights at Huish Park

Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "We have agreed to let Jaime join Yeovil on loan until the end of May.

"Like a lot of the young players here, he needs regular first team football and he is not getting that opportunity at the moment.

"We want him to go out to Yeovil and get someone football under his belt and come back to us in the summer ready to make his mark next season."

Yeovil manager Russell Slade said it had taken a while to sort out the move, which required a new work permit: "I am absolutely delighted to secure the services of Jaime Peters, especially after the amount of time we have spent concluding the deal. he said

"I am sure that the fans will take to Jaime as he is an extremely exciting player with amazing pace."
