Striker Dean Bowditch is the surprise inclusion in the Town squad for Saturday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday. The former England U19 international recently returned from a two-month spell on loan at Northampton Town.

Bowditch looks likely to be one of two attacking options on the bench along with Danny Haynes with Jordan Rhodes omitted.

Also not in Jim Magilton's 19-man travelling party are midfielders Gavin Williams and Sylvain Legwinski.
