![]() Friday, 14th Mar 2008 09:44 Town's U18s are in action against Birmingham City at Playford Road over Saturday lunchtime (KO noon). Earlier in the week the club announced that schoolboy midfielder Billy Clark and left-back Seb Dunbar would be amongst this summer's intake of full-time academy scholars. TWTD understands the Blues are also offering scholarships to locally-based centre-back or central midfielder Luke Hyam, Tom Eastman, another centre-half, central midfielder Jamie Griffiths, as well as Irish youngsters David Cawley and Ronan Murray The pair have already spent a year at Playford Road completing their final year of schooling with the Blues as part of a scheme run by Irish schools. Cawley is a central midfielder, who has represented his nation at U15 and U16 level, while striker Murray has played for Ireland at U15 and U16 level.
