Academy defender Tommy Smith was the only one of Town's loanees in action this weekend as his Stevenage side defeated Ebbsfleet 3-1 at Broadhall Way on Friday evening.

Smith, who extended his loan spell with Boro until the end of the season last week, has now made six appearances for Peter Taylor's side since joining them in February.

Both Billy Clarke and Shane Supple were unused subs as Falkirk drew 0-0 with Hearts on Saturday afternoon.

Matt Richards and Jaime Peters are back at Portman Road from Brighton and Yeovil, where they are currently on loan, for treatment on hamstring and ankle injuries respectively. Both are expected to return to their temporary clubs in the next couple of weeks.

Gary Roberts has ended his spell with Crewe and was back in the Town 16 at Scunthorpe, while Dean Bowditch's time with Brighton was ended by a groin problem.
