Veteran Dutchman Fabian Wilnis says he will be staying in Ipswich next season, even if his contract is not renewed. The 37-year-old has been with the Blues for the last nine-and-a-half years.

Wilnis said: "I have been living in Ipswich since 1999 and am definitely staying in the town, and hopefully with the football club.”

The former De Graafschap man looks unlikely to be offered a new playing contract when his current deal expires in June, but has been involved with coaching the reserves this season as he looks to forge a career in management.
