![]() Thursday, 15th May 2008 09:50 Midfielder Owen Garvan will go home to Dublin to consider whether to sign his new Town contract, according to manager Jim Magilton. Garvan's current deal is up next summer and the new terms would take him up to June 2011. Magilton said: "If he decides to sign we'll be happy to secure his signature. We think the world of him here, but if an offer came in we couldn't refuse then we would have to consider it. "He will probably go home to his family and weigh up all his options. We think we've made him a very good offer, I think he just wants to take his time. I think he's still improving and he's still got a lot to learn." Earlier in the week, Garvan was named in Giovanni Trapattoni's first Irish squad ahead of a training camp in Portugal and friendlies with Serbia at Croke Park in Dublin on May 24th and Colombia at Craven Cottage on May 29th.
