Dagenham and Redbridge chief executive Steve Thompson says his club are yet to receive any offers for full-back Scott Griffiths. TWTD understands that Town are amongst a number of clubs interested in the former Aveley player.

Thompson says claims of offers already being made are incorrect: "We have had no offers for Scott or any of our players and it seems this is just an internet rumour.”

However, Thompson says his club would not stand in the way of the defender should a side firm up their interest: "We sell the club to potential signings on the basis that if a club higher up comes in with a reasonable offer then we would not prevent them from furthering their career."
