Police have confirmed that they have received four complaints regarding Craig Bellamy's comments made to fans in the family enclosure in the Britannia Stand during Monday's friendly with West Ham.

PC Mark Norman, Suffolk Constabulary's football intelligence officer, said: "Police are following up four enquires from members of the public as a result of the alleged incident. All of these people will be spoken to and information will be collected and then we will decide on the next course of action.”

Bellamy clashed with fans after pulling up with a hamstring injury during the first half of the Hammers' 5-3 victory over the Blues. Both clubs have said they will assist the police with any investigation that might follow.
