![]() Thursday, 7th Aug 2008 23:13 Fabian Wilnis has as expected signed a one-year deal with Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic. The Dutchman spent time on trial at the Rec last month having been released by the Blues. Grays chairman and manager Mike Woodward said: "With our aspirations of gaining promotion to the Football League this coming season, Fabian's experience will be extremely valuable during the long campaign." The Dutchman, who has been awarded a testimonial game next summer, left Town after nine years at the end of last season. Meanwhile, ex-midfielder Kevin Horlock has joined Needham Market in the Ridgeons League Premier Division. Elsewhere, Town's U15s drew 1-1 with Donegal District League in their third game at the Galway Cup. Previously, they lost to a Republic of Ireland XI and beat Newcastle United 3-1. Their final group game is against Leeds on Friday afternoon with the semi-finals and final on Saturday.
