![]() Tuesday, 12th Aug 2008 09:14 Honduran national coach Reinaldo Rueda claims Emilio Izaguirre could return to the Blues for a further trial spell. The 22-year-old left Playford Road last week after three weeks with Town, having failed to impress in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Fulham. Izaguirre is currently with his national squad and their coach Rueda is quoted as saying the left-sided full-back or midfielder could again join up with the Blues after their game with Mexico: "He received a call and it seems there is a possibility that he is going to test again with Ipswich Town." The Motagua player impressed during his initial two weeks with the Blues and was asked to stay for a further few days so the Town management could watch him in match action. Izaguirre, nicknamed El Milo, played in a behind-closed-doors 0-0 draw with Fulham on Thursday, but afterwards was told he would not be offered a deal and returned to Honduras. Also in the side facing the Cottagers were Curtis Haynes-Brown, who has been on trial from Ipswich Wanderers for the past couple of weeks, and Jamie Clapham, who is training with the Blues while he looks for another club, having been released by Leicester.
