Ipswich Town Ist, the Supporters Trust, are holding a workshop for the Ipswich ‘Til I Die book project next Thursday at Portman Road. The book will feature the footballing memories and experiences of Blues fans of all ages.

The workshop is aimed at providing advice and guidance to supporters who would like to contribute an article or who know someone who would like to get involved. Fans can come along and share their memories or stories and commit them to paper. Anyone interested is invited to pop along for a chat and to bring any photos which illustrate their particular story.

The Ipswich 'Til I Die project is based on an existing concept which has proven very successful at other clubs and is designed to capture the personal stories and club-related memories from a wide range of supporters. Real Ipswich Town stories told by real Ipswich Town fans.

Revenue from the book will go to the club's Community Trust and to Ipswich Town Ist to be used for community-based schemes. Funding for the project has been provided by Ipswich Town Ist, the National Literacy Trust, the Department for Children, Schools and Families, the Football Foundation and Supporters Direct.

The workshop is being held in the Ipswich Town FC classroom next to the practice pitch by the Constantine Road entrance from 5pm until 8pm on Thursday, 23rd October. If you need any further information call Jane on 0779 257 789.
