Town defender Alex Bruce has been named in Giovanni Trapattoni's final squad for the Republic of Ireland's friendly with Poland at Croke Park on November 19th. The Italian last week named a larger provisional squad before cutting it down to 23 today.

Bruce, who Trapattoni is reported to have recommended to various Italian sides, has previously won one full cap.
