![]() Wednesday, 24th Dec 2008 11:03 Town and Crystal Palace have been keeping a close eye on Exeter City left-sided midfielder or full-back Dean Moxey, according to reports in the South-West. The 22-year-old has been singled out for praise by boss Paul Tisdale after an impressive first half of the season. Tisdale, who played alongside Town manager Jim Magilton at Southampton, said recently that Moxey has been outstanding in League Two this season: "Dean has been playing consistently above this level. He is an example to our young players how you can affect a game through sheer hard work." Exeter currently sit fifth in League Two after winning promotion from the Blue Square Premier last season and their squad also features former Blues Marcus Stewart and Richard Logan. Moxey came through the ranks at his hometown club and made his senior debut in the 2003/04 season while still a trainee. He has now amassed 130 starts and 41 sub appearances and has scored 21 goals. The 5ft 11in tall former England National Game cap (non-league England side) is contracted to the Grecians until 2010, having signed a new deal last summer.
