![]() Tuesday, 6th Jan 2009 09:33 Matt Richards says he is keen on joining former loan club Brighton and Hove Albion permanently during January. Yesterday, Seagulls manager Micky Adams called the switch into doubt after revealing a disagreement over personal terms with Richards's agent. Richards, who is out of contract with Town next summer, said: "I would definitely like to stay, I've made that clear. I've not had much by way of discussions yet with the chairman or manager but hopefully we can get something sorted because I have enjoyed my time at Brighton so far and I want that to continue. "It is strange being back at Ipswich at the moment, because I have not been here for so long and I want to play down there. "It doesn't look like I am going to be featuring here at all, which is what I expected anyway. They have got a massive squad here now. "I am out of contract in the summer, so I want to get something done permanently. I don't want to be hanging around and going out on loan or anything like that again. I want to sort out my future.†Richards, whose last Town appearance was back in March 2007, has made 65 appearances for Albion across three loan spells, scoring twice. Meanwhile, recent loanee Darren Ambrose is reported to be a Wolves target. Ambrose returned to Charlton at the end of his spell with the Blues last week. The Addicks themselves are being linked with a move for ex-Town striker James Scowcroft, currently with Crystal Palace.
