Bowditch Wants to Stay With Brentford

Striker Dean Bowditch says he wants to stay with Brentford despite his loan spell with the Bees ending after Saturday's draw at Lincoln. The 22-year-old scored two goals in eight starts and one sub appearance during his spell with the League One side.

Bowditch, whose Town deal is up at the end of the season, said: "I would like to stay. Brentford are on the up, we are flying at the moment, second in the table, I can't see why I would want to go back.

"I want to stay, score more goals and help the team get promoted. I don't know what Ipswich want to do but there is a week until the next game and we will talk at the beginning of next week."
