U18s Unlucky to Lose to Arsenal Saturday, 17th Jan 2009 22:11 Town's U18s fell to an unlucky 1-0 defeat against Arsenal at their Hale End academy training ground on Saturday morning. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas came off the bench to net the game's only goal two minutes from time. The young Blues deserved a draw with Ronan Murray hitting the woodwork twice and the hugely impressive Connor Wickham once. Watching the game were former Spurs boss David Pleat and ex-Town striker Paul Goddard, who these days works for Jonathan Barnett's Stellar Management. Town's U16s lost 3-0 to their Arsenal counterparts. U18s: Ward, Clemo (Hyam 46), Ainsley (Watson 46), Eastman, Dunbar, Lambe, Daniels, Clark (Griffiths 60), Cawley, Wickham, Murray.
