Bruce in Irish Squad Monday, 19th Jan 2009 11:13 Town defender Alex Bruce has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifier against Georgia in Dublin on Wednesday 11th, February. Bruce has previously won two full caps. There is no place for fellow Blue Owen Garvan, who has been included in a number of coach Giovanni Trapattoni's squads, although the midfielder is more regularly included in the U21s.
