Academy striker Connor Wickham says he is looking forward to this evening's FA Youth Cup fifth round tie against Watford at Portman Road (KO 7pm). The England U16 and U17 international netted a hat-trick in the 4-2 extra-time victory over Crystal Palace in the last round.

Wickham, who was on the bench for the FA Cup tie against Chesterfield earlier in the year, told the club site: "I'm really looking forward to the Watford game and the chance to play at Portman Road again.

"The club has a reputation for doing well in the competition and it will be great to carry that on this season and win the trophy.

"The Crystal Palace game was an amazing match to be involved in. It was a very tough game, going into extra-time but we deserved to come out on top. Obviously it was fantastic to get a hat-trick as well."

This evening's winners face a sixth round trip to Cardiff or Birmingham with their rearranged fifth round tie being played on Tuesday.

Last season, the Blues' youngsters beat Watford 3-1 at home in the fourth round of the competition, Jordan Rhodes (2) and Paul Murphy netting for the Town goals.

Entry to tonight's match costs £3 for adults and £1 for under-16s and concessions.
