Town have confirmed that they are freezing season ticket prices for 2009/10 and are introducing an eight-month interest-free payment scheme, as TWTD revealed in January. The 50% Premier League promotion rebate is being continued and extended to the end of next season.

Supporters who buy a season ticket before the early bird deadline of April 4th will be able to utilise this year's credit scheme, which is extended from last year's four months to this year's eight with payments made between May and December.

They will also be eligible for the club's Premiership Cashback scheme – initially introduced at the suggestion of the Supporters Trust in 2007 – which would see a rebate of 50% of the price of their season ticket if the Blues are promoted this season or in 2009/10.

Club owner Marcus Evans says the club were very conscious of the current financial climate when setting next season's prices: "Money is tight in many households at the moment which is why we have taken a number of steps to try and keep football at Portman Road as affordable as possible.

"We have held prices for the third successive year for most supporters and extended the interest-free credit facility with an eight-month interest-free plan that will help supporters to better manage their money while continuing to support the club they love.

"When I invested in Ipswich Town in December 2007, I did so in the belief that I could help the club and its supporters get back to the Premier League and 14 months on I'm convinced this will happen.”

Town are retaining their U11 season ticket, which costs £10 (bought along with an adult ticket), which is one of the cheapest in the top two divisions.
